Leanne Simpson

Makes a commitment to welcoming relaxation through exercise.

Providing training for Exercise and Health Professionals through her Fitness Australia CEC approved program “Time Out Tai Chi- Welcoming Jing”, Leanne is continuing her push for exercise to be fun and be used as a tool for wellness.
Having worked with Allied Health and NGO professionals providing an inclusive form of exercise adaptable to the environment and the needs of the client, Leanne has developed a Tai Chi program designed to help clients experience the benefits of Tai Chi – soft movements, calmness, mindfulness and social interactions – in an easy to follow format.
This 2 day course will provide Exercise Professionals with skills to supply a stand-alone Time Out Tai Chi Welcoming Jing program or integrate it into their own.  We will look at the development of wellness programs for their clients and how to meet their individual needs.  Exercise Professionals are the creative fitness leaders for today and the future.
With 25 years of teaching experience including book keeping and computer studies for the Ayr Ag College, swimming instructor, teacher’s aide, touch football coach, tai chi instructor and personal trainer, Leanne loves helping people be the best they can be.
With the publishing of her book  “Time Out Tai Chi Welcoming Jing” an illustrated children’s book introducing basic tai chi principles through the story of Jing the Panda making new friends, she has been spreading the word of the benefits of tai chi, exercise and breathing to help balance fitness and fun
